A players real level is their match play standard, not their level in practice. As such it makes sense to prepare thoroughly for tournament competition.

The Notice, Ready, Go pre-match sheet provides a structured way to get into the zone on the day of competition. The preparation needs to be the players, so they must be engaged with it. Even where the coach has developed the match plan we need to ensure that both (coach & player) agree and understand otherwise it will evaporate quickly in the heat of competition.
