Ahead of the Game

We brought Phil into the Club back in 2021 to run our Coaches team training sessions. Having previously attended courses and training that Phil had run previously I knew how informative and thought provoking these sessions would be. Phil has now run 5 sessions for us, with a combination of on and off court training. Our sessions are bespoke and I have liaised with him before each one about what we would like as a team to really benefit our coaches and our club and players. The sessions really fit the bill in terms of creating many usable ideas for us as coaches, but also hugely adaptable to delve into something deeper. Its not just about giving us new ideas and drills on court, it’s a whole approach of challenging us of ‘how to be’ on court to get the best out of ourselves as coaches and how to get the best from your players. I have to say that Phil’s approach has excited me, but also challenged me to think how I can be better. What you get with Phil is a full package of tailored coach education, interactive discussion, usable ideas to go away with and a follow up of information to re affirm knowledge and challenge thinking. I would recommend Phil to anyone wanting to provide themselves or their coaching team with an opportunity to learn, grow and ultimately provide a better experience to their clients.
